§ 103-50. Off-street parking schedule.

The following schedule is established for off-street parking spaces:

Use	Minimum Number of Spaces Required
Residential	2 per single-family dwelling unit (DU)
	2 per multifamily DU with 3 or more bedrooms
	1.5 per multifamily DU with 1 or 2 bedrooms
	1 per multifamily efficiency DU
Motel, hotel, rooming house or tourist home	1 for each guest room
Administrative, professional, institutional or utility office or bank	3 for each 1,000 square feet of gross leasable area (GLA), with a minimum of 3
Funeral home	15, plus 1 for each 2 employees
Church or temple	1 for each 5 seating spaces in main assembly room
School	2 for each classroom
Theater, cinema or other place of assembly	1 for each 5 seating spaces
Nursing or convalescent home	1 for each 2 employees on maximum working shift, plus 1 for every 3 beds
Clubs or restaurants	1 for each 200 square feet of GLA
Bowling establishment	4 for each alley
Wholesale, storage or freight terminal	1 for each 1,000 square feet of GLA
Industrial or manufacturing uses	1 for each 2 employees on the maximum working shift, plus 1 for each company vehicle
Home occupation	1 for each 200 square feet devoted to such use
Retail stores, commercial or shopping center	5 per 1,000 square feet of GLA for more than 600,000 total square feet; 4.5 per 1,000 square feet of GLA for 300,000 to 600,000 total square feet; 4 per 1,000 square feet of GLA for 100,000 to 300,000 total square feet of GLA; and 3.5 per 1,000 square feet of GLA for up to 100,000 total square feet
Commercial garage	3 for each 1,000 square feet of GLA devoted to retail sales; 2 for each service bay; 1 for each 1,000 square feet of storage area; the minimum shall be 4 spaces
Unspecified uses	3 for each 1,000 square feet of GLA
