§ 103-81. Building permits.

  • All persons proposing to construct, erect, relocate, alter, extend, remove, demolish or structurally change any building, structure or portion thereof shall apply to the enforcement officer for a building permit on an appropriate form as prescribed in Chapter 16, Building Construction. A building permit shall be valid for a period of one year after the date of its issuance and may be renewed upon application to the Code Enforcement Officer without fee. Nonstructural repairs costing less than $10,000 shall not require a building permit.
