§ 85-13. Private owner's rights and responsibilities in rights-of-way.

  • An owner of land abutting a Town highway has a right and a duty to maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, driveways, fences, etc. within the Town's right-of-way so long as they do not interfere with or impair the safety of the traveling public or the Town's right to maintain and improve the roadway.
