§ 97-10. Statutory authority and purposes.

This article is enacted pursuant to Article 41 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York to further the purposes set forth herein, including but not limited to promoting the general health, safety and welfare of the community, including regulation of certain driveways and parking areas within the Town for the purpose of promoting driver and pedestrian safety within said areas and for the purpose of preserving and protecting the property of owners within the Town and promoting firesafety for said properties.
