§ 97-4. Notice of removal.

The Town Highway Superintendent or peace officer, whoever shall require removal of a motor vehicle in any particular instance, shall without delay report the removal and the disposition of any vehicle removed as provided in this article to the Town Clerk, and it shall be the duty of such Town Clerk to ascertain to the extent possible the owner of the vehicle or person having same in charge and to notify him of the removal and disposition of such vehicle and the amount which will be required to redeem the same.
